I'm just super pissed right now. Nothing like loading up keywords for hours and hours. 100k keywords later. You've got 100k keywords that they want you to raise your bid for. HEY! They're relevant you google asshole!!

I'm willing to give you money! Nobody else is bidding on them! I am willing! WHY! DO YOU HATE ME?! I bring $$$. $$$ is KING! USER FUCKING EXPERIENCE! I AM OFFERING THEM SOMETHING! You're robbing them and yourself! Your damn fucking algroithems. How do i OP to have the human eye take a peek?

I don't know if this works, but I was testing out a ringtone offer for a specific band. They told me my keywords were not relevant, so I just left the whole thing alone. I wanted to pay .05 and that's all there was too it, so I walked away.

Funny thing.... They started taking money from my account and I was paying .05 a click. Not sure why it did that, but if you leave it a lone, do you think it would something similiar?

So just give them time and don't take there shit? Just wait them out? Eventually they'll take it?
 
I can't say for sure why it did that, but the keywords went through and they started taking my money. I wish I knew why.....
 
As engaged eluded to, it isn't that hard to get past the landing page quality score. You should get a QS boost for:

on-page text
relevant basic on-page SEO
relevant page/dir file names
properly structured ad groups / campaigns
multiple pages within your site

and the list goes on.

Also, your chances of getting 0.01-0.09 clicks from the start will probably be very low. As waraas said, work your way down. When I want to get super low priced clicks in a niche where that is enough (read: not many advertisers) I will usually start with about 20 cents and can get it down to about 7-8 cents within a day. Using the adwords desktop tool, I can see that many of my keywords are even given a minimum bid of 1 cent.

I was frustrated during the first week of this new quality score, but it really isn't that hard to figure it out.

That's a lot of keywords!
I probably don't understand your plan, but it sounds like google is making it difficult to implement it. I wonder if there is a tool that could be created that makes it easier?

Youre probably getting clicks from the content network or search network.
 
NICE my specialty, Engaged, your the fucking idiot, and the man that started this thread is absolutely right. See you might not get it man, but adding stupid fucking links and gay content on our landing pages LOSES our conversions! WOW imagine that, and this man is right, fuck google and their quality score, i bet i know more about the quality score than you and its totally gay. Im so tired of people like you do you work for google? Sounds like the standard answer they give, increase your ad text and you landing page BLAH!!!!!!!!!! FUCK google.

Nevermind, this guy works for google. Buddy ive used all your methods, that doesnt do shit. Maybe your a magician man. How bout this you PM me i got ads with no competition and no matter what i do i have to pay 10 dollars, tell me how you get to start on 20 cents, using more than your methods above, cuz ive used all those.
 
havok - the thing is you don't control the game google does. If like you say you have tested all the above methods and google is still giving you shit have you tried a brand new domain? 100% of the time I get a fucked up bid amount I switch to a brand new unused domain and do all the "quality score" shit and it works.
Be smart about your links, send people to other sites in your network that basicly sell the same thing - that is about the dumbest thing I could think of but I bet if you put in the effort it would work.
and another thing, don't bitch about shit you have no control over, it is a given that there is shit google does that makes your life difficult so what deal with it or make a better mouse trap!
that is as nice as I am going to be all day long!

Lastnight I decided to try doing adwords>adsense arbitrage on a page with scraped content. Brand new account, brand new domain. (I had been using 7search, but not getting much traffic anyways, so screw them and their new policies)

The niches were "handbags" and "jewelry".

I lazily created one campaign, 2 adgroups, and 2,000 keywords per adgroup. Set a 10 cent minimum bid.

In the handbags adgroup I have 3 inactive keywords. In the jewelry adgroup I have 42 inactive keywords. When using the add keywords estimate tool, I can see that many of my minimums are 4 cents.

When I woke up 8 or so hours later, I have had 130 clicks from the search network at 2.8% CTR and average CPC of 8 cents. The content network hasn't been approved yet. (This is currently unprofitable. With $0.08-$0.20 clicks, I think I may be smartpriced right now)

Again, it isn't that hard... buddy

havokb, If you want to PM me some of your landing page urls, I will see if there is anything that I'm doing differently. It could be your url that fell out of favor with Google. Did you try using a new domain name?

...and I wish I worked for Google AdWords.
