Hyundai takes on BMW/Mercedes/Lexus

Funny you bring such nonsense into this thread. I've had an A8 for three years now haven't been in shop once other then regular/mandatory inspections. For you to say that BMW/Audi/Mercedes is shit is downright idiotic and arrogant. If you would've actually read what I was saying it was that in order to compete in the luxury automobile market, it would've made sense to improve their brand quality at the lower level.

And how does your a8 play into what I said above actually? I never once said an a8 or any audi was in the shop. The only time I brought up audi was to explain the r8 and how I have driven one, which you assumed I had not.

I also never said any of those cars were shit bro. I told you my experience and then that of my former boss.

Oh i read what you wrote, you basically stated that a cars value is basically tied into its resale value in not so many words a few times up above and then I stated how that is bullshit. Value is relative to the person buying it, not some made up number based on peoples perception in a little bluebook.

Please learn how to comprehend and read.

I have never driven a Mercedes, however my old boss had one he bought new that always was in the shop.. so much so he would just drive his jag to work everyday and sold the Merc about a year of owning it because of all the problems.

Right now, between all of us, my family owns 5 Mercedes-Benz (ranging from a SL 63 AMG to two A Class) and 2 Smart Fortwo (one Brabus and one convertible).
Apart from the maintenance that the cars automatically signals you to do, they have been in the shop 0 times.

Everytime I see a Hyundai, I imagine Alec Baldwin calling the owner a peasant.

You guys can talk about quality, depreciation and resale value but you're missing the most important point... that thing is fucking ugly. God damn. There is absolutely nothing sexy about that car. Those lines are awful.

Point is they have come a long, long way. Good looking car, has great lines.

Better than the Hyundai at least but I wouldn't call it "great".

hyundai should pay birdman and fifty to use this car in their clips. next thing you know is all of WF driving around in hyundais equ something

The thing that gets me is they fucking model their cars after their competitors.

How embarassing would it be for some chick to say "wow, nice mercedes"...
