I'll still wait for Core 2 (Conroe). Intel has already said they will still be cheaper than these prices. AMD is fucked. They are trying to undersell while they can.

Yeah, I saw that the A64 3200+ went down to about $100 on the 'egg. I'm still on AXP 2500+, and I've been dying for an upgrade. Looks like it'll be the year.

Im not surprised. I've been trading AMD and it's gone from $40/share to $24/share. Everyone expects their inventory levels to rise rapidly once Intel's chip upgrade is complete.

Always was a fan of AMD, and at these prices even more so. Although if Intel does undercut more, I'll be right back on the Intel bandwagon.

Intel's new server line holds more potential than AMD's current Opteron line.
We'll know for sure within a few months. Their first server line upgrade is due within a few days.
