How many backlinks will be enough to get success?

Keep doing the backlinks until you hit the 1st position in Google page one.

Do not stop the backlinks after your website are already at the 1st position because your competitor are doing the backlinks too. They will keep do the backlinks until their website hit the no.1. If you stop, that mean you give the chances to your competitor to take you down. If you have budget, you can outsource the backlinks process.

Do not forget about the Onpage optimize, it is also important to help you rank your website.

You have to have more quality and quantity backlinks than the #1 spot. There are several tools to gadge backlinks and quality, it's quite simple.

I suggest targeting 4x what the competition is doing. If they got 2000 quality, attempt to get 8000, some will be quality, some might be nofollow, etc. Remember, that they are #1 because they are most likely doing SEO or adding backlinks themselves, so use a tool gadge what they are doing and out do them.
