How long?

For those of you with established sites, how long did it take for you to be making money of any significance off of your first site?

It took me a couple of years of having a site before I realized that there was money to be made.

Established profitable sites or just established sites?

My one and only established site - the rest are nto established is yet to make any money of significance. It's doing $2 / day at the moment. Hence my user title

my firt site was selling my own product - services
and i made big profits as soon as google ranked me which about 4-5 years ago and only took a few months to rank back then - but i have only been making money from my sites - non real world stuff for about a year

The first month Ive made back my hosting costs, and thats about it. No complaints about that though.
