I find it hard to believe you have tried everything, if I knew the niche perhaps I'd change my mind.

I'd definitely try the email list angle and as a last resort I would probably advertise my other sites or products through banners and move on to things that were more profitable.

It would be best not to leave it alone and try to maintain it every now and then. Passive income will not be there to stay if you won't do your part on maintaining the site. Goodluck with your site.

"leave it alone" in this case means that I won't be testing any other offers as long as the ones I have continue to convert. I'll still be building links to the site, and trying to improve it's rankings, and eventually, these offers will go down, and I'll need to replace them.

For the meantime though, it's nice not to have this thorn in my pride.
 
Hey Ice, I am in a similar position with one of my sites. Traffic is decent, but nothing works except adsense and there is literally no worthwhile products in the niche to even bother promoting.

So I'm making my own. ;)

I mean do not abandon it totally since you still need to build backlinks on it and update the site for maintenance every now and then. Goodluck with the other offers you are trying out and hopefully they will be more profitable than the offers you tried in the past.
 
This site just moved into the #1 position for it's KW, and looks to be getting 12k+ UV/day now.

CPA offers are poor converting, and I've tested them all, it's just a shitty KW to rank for.

Does anyone have experience with interstitial advertising through something like adf.ly and sending volume (300k impressions/month) through there?
 
looks like TCP asked this question a while back and didn't get much of an answer, except from Jeffrey, and Jeffrey is a known faggot.

If anyone has a referral link to an interstitial network ala adf.ly that has comparable rates, I'll be happy to use it...

Im in the same situation with volume of traffic and hard to monetize.

Been turned down by 2 big ad networks because of content containing 'drugs' and 'profanity' (lol)

forcing my traffic to deal with an interstitial to get off the homepage seems like such a low-rent way to monetize, but if that allows me to stop fucking around with this site and earn, I'll do it.

Testing adf.ly tonight, seems to track accurately and I like that fact that all of my international traffic counts for something, because I'm sure as hell not going to be testing Iranian CPA offers anytime soon.

also, I've seen your site: "fuck-fuck-heroin-fuck-cocaine-motherfucker-heroin.org", and I can sort of see why advertisers have a problem with it.
