How does DirectTrack track sales and leads?

Hi,

I wonder if anybody here has ever encountered some kind of implementation guide for DirectTrack platform, preferably in pdf format? I am working now with this tool and really wanna understand ways of tracking this system takes. If someone has any useful information please provide a source.

the fact that networks that used to use them would ask me for additional sales because they knew their system was under reporting was ridiculous.
