May I suggest a backpacking trip? Thats what I am doing in mid July. For 2 weeks I'll be in Colorado on a 100 mile backpacking drip. Can't wait

I'm going on a weekend long fishing trip sometime after ASE, and at the end of the summer, finally going back to Aruba. These will be my first vacations in YEARS, and I won't be bringing anything work related except for my phone, which will most likely be turned off most of the time.
just go somewhere with wifi - i was in jamaica in february and it was awesome. wake up, eat leisurely breakfast by ocean while i check what's going on and make a plan. work for a couple hours. go snorkeling, swimming, etc, have fun. come back late afternoon and work some more til dinner. maybe my business isn't as vast as yours or maybe cause my wife does a lot of the work along side me, it was amazing and i don't think our income really took a hit.
That's fine if you have a "beach holiday", but if you want something more adventurous like a backpacking trip, it's not an option imo. At least not if you want to enjoy your trip 100%.
Everyone in this industry should take a vacation, it should be a requirement. When I say vacation I mean no phone, no laptop, no work!!!!!!!
If you must work set aside a time, like an hour and then when that hour is up, back to vacation. Your earnings might take a hit, but worth every minute of it. You’ll come back on top of your game
