It was some thread on Reddit some months ago that introduced me to the world of Tor browsing and internet anonymity. And no, don't get me started on onion sites. I still can't shake something I saw a few months ago (or deepfry my hard drive enough).
Through the many posts I've read on internet marketing, many have eluded to the fact that G tracks IPs, and who knows to what extent? But it wasn't until CCarter's 10-inch cock of a post that I decided it was worth seriously looking into.
Now, a lot of you guys probably have some answers that you'd consider "common sense" among your peers, but I'm still exploring, so fuck me if I'm stabbing away at a non-issue.
But what advantages do you guys believe exist by using proxy services and/or other internet anonymity-enabling services, and what specifically do you use?
