How do sites get tons of content?

These sites and options that offer content for next to nothing are providing zero value. They also kill North American writers and make people down their prices, but quality definitely doesn't come at a dollar for 500 words, no one can give you that!

What do you mean how do they get it? Read them, if they read like shit then they are spun, if they look good then they were either written by the blog owner or outsourced to writers.

I'm browsing flippa and trying to learn, and I see these $50 websites with 131 articles. How do a lot of these sites have so much content? It seems like it would be hard to compete with them as far as making a brand new website?

Hi there! One of the reasons why these sites get tons of contents is because they constantly update their domain by posting articles on a regular basis. And if the number of articles are usually high, then it only means that there's more than 1 author posting articles in that website...:)

Push for Quality

Having tons of content on a website does not mean that these are quality content. A lot of websites use spun articles instead of original content.

You do not have to worry about quantity. As you progress, the amount of content on your website will grow. However, make sure that you post QUALITY content that is engaging, informational, professional. comply with anti spam laws as well.

Competition is not about the quantity. it is about quality.

Content can be created easily for cheap price. So, there is nothing to wonder. Apart from that there are other metrics to consider like authority, backlinks, trust flow, spam score, referring IPs etc..

The only way to get good quality unique content is to write it yourself, or pay someone to write it. Spun content is not good for your site itself,, but is more suitable for backlinking purposes and shit which isn't your main site.

Quality > Quantity

Exactly!

Sadly, I've seen this turned around. A lot of articles are just rubbish or rehash or the same thought but with different words. Sometimes, website managers pay less for their content writers just to generate tons of spam.
