Can anybody tell me how they can go about diversifying their traffic sources, for the reason to stay safe in case something bad happens ?

Right - Get traffic from more sources. So if one dies, you still have backup. There's a list of companies that sell ads (try google to find it). Start out by whatever source looks the easiest. Master it, then keep on repeating for all other ad networks.

Not sure what else I could tell you!

Yep - that's all you'll get from this forum. if you ask more, be prepared to be flamed. Just a friendly warning :)

I use a marketing system that has a good number of lead generating portals. It's a stable system that isn't going anywhere. Plus there are others I use. There are plenty of ways to bring in leads, but just try and stay organized and don't over due it by gathering all kinds of systems that are scatered all over. Hard to keep track of.

What do you mean "how to diversify traffic sources"? Ummm.. if you are running Adwords, try Yahoo and MSN. Maybe try experimenting with PPV & Media Buys. Video Traffic with YouTube, etc etc etc...

This thread actually got me thinking and a little worried. What would I do if for some reason I lost my traffic source? I did some searching here on the forums and found this thread:
Top 50 PPC Networks You should check that list out, there's a bunch of networks on there that I didn't even know about.

okay i like those ideas for paid traffic sources, but all i know for free traffic is social bookmarking and directory listing. Does anybody have different ways of getting free traffic?
