hosting levels

i tried searching and im sure its in here somewhere... but for someone whos soon to have 10+ websites and running multiple sources of traffic, ppc, ppv, mediabuys, which type of hosting is the best? Is a reseller account necessary? are there any advantages to having a reseller account besides the amount of traffic it can handle?

It really depend, personally I wouldn't run anything less than a VPS, but if you actually monitor your bandwidth usage, you can compare plans in that way.

I have been away from the Webmaster/Affiliate marketing world for about a year now due to studies and obviously there are now less and less available .com .org and .net , which thus compels you to register different extensions.

Other than the three, mentioned above what other extensions are considered to be respected or are becoming more widely recognised and accepted?

For example, what implications would there be in registering a .me ? How does a .me compare to a .net or .org for example.
