Hostgator Down?

I've been trying for a couple of days to log into the Hostgator site with no luck. I've tried on an XP & Vista machine and if I ping the site, it times out. Very strange.

Can anyone else see if Hostgator is down for you too?

Ok, I suspect then it's an ISP problem at my end. They have been having problems lately .

Use a quick W3C check when you think you might have a DNS issue with your ISP. It has saved me countless times from reporting issues with hosts that don't exist.

better yet, do a traceroute to figure out where the problem is
