Hittin the slopes

Planning on putting my standard 100+ days in at Schweitzer and the Selkirk backcountry. El Nino is totally hit or miss in the northern Rockies, could be bony, could be epic. Good thing I've got first descents scoped out for both conditions.

@ upthread posters, Big Sky and Chrystal are both awesome mountains.
 


am I the only person that immediately thought of coke when reading the thread title?
 
You motherfuckers. I'm supposed to be the only one on the slopes on a tuesday at 11 am. No but seriously, I will be doing plenty of that this winter as snowboarding is the driving force of my life. I moved to Mt. Hood in Oregon when I was 19 to ride summers and I even lived in my car at one point. No regrets. Ideally and soon, I will just be able to ride whenever and wherever I feel like it with this afuhlyate marketing thingy.

Tahoe is amazing. I've been all over. Smaxor, you're living the life. What the fuck is money anyways if you don't have something to live for? I could go on for days.

Do you work for mammoth as well? Or did you just mean your personal office? I'm riding tomorow at this place called Killington in Southern Vermont.

I do in fact work for MMSA (Mammoth Mountain Ski Area).

but, what's this "as well" you speak of? ... don't tell me we're coworkers!
 
Haha. No I have never worked there. I rode there, and bear mtn. We should ride when i get out there again. We could do affiliate front boards...or something.
 
Damn, this thread keeps getting better and better. Are you from Lincoln city as in Lincoln City, Or? You skate that park on the regs' or what? I did. Wheeeewwww.

Flying to Anchorage,Alaska from Aus in Feb to finally go Heli Skiing. So pumped except for the 30+ Hours traveling to get there.
