PS: I know about the new rules but I have seen other users post blogroll threads and it seems as long as the site is verified by a reputable member then it's okay? If that's the case I'll happily verify ownership to someone reputable who asks. Otherwise I misinterpreted the rules and this can be deleted.

By the way, the common verification method is to write your username somewhere on your website ;)

Simple as - if you have provided blogroll services in the past, you are safe. If you haven't, no matter if you verify or not, you are not allowed.
