Anyone having trouble with CL tightening up their spam protection lately?? It seems like over the last couple days 1:5-1:10 posts actually publish and the rest are bouncing/ghosted. Each post has a unique title, body, email, and published with anon http proxies and Im just wondering how CL is stopping them? Do they check IPs when you post now? For a while it only mattered when publishing.

Anyway, let your secrets out! (or PM me as I can hook you up with a really lucrative CL opportunity if you help me get around these blocks)

Only thing I spam craig's list for is used cars i am trying to sell.

Thanks for that insightful, eye-opening response! I bet if you were selling NEW cars you would be getting the banner hammer from cl! :bootyshake:

Back on topic-

I don't post much, but I haven't had any issues with new stuff on cl. Maybe keep track of which ones do make through from what proxy - they might be putting them on a blacklist.

man, you must be new to CL.. they have been keeping track of IPs for ANYTHING on their site for months. I was noticing this about 6 months ago.

CL marketing is a pain and is a constant battle to get posts to work. Eventually I don't think it's worth the time even if it's free to post. It's just alot of time wasted circumventing their spam detection at times unless you have time and no money $$ to market.. The uniqueness for every part of a post is key, trial & error.

after dec 23 something changed on cl. i just gave up. not worth the hassle for me

From what I've seen they've been putting the squeeze a bit harder on some keywords, fresh ad copy usually defeats it though.

I've been having issues with posting of CL too. Even when using new IP addresses for each post. I think their upgrades had to do with monitoring ads by looking for certain keywords and so forth. They're not stupid!
Anyways, Its not actually worth the hassle at the end of the day.
Yes it's free, but that is not what you should judge a marketing tool by.

i dont understand all of the problems with CL. I made $700 so far this month with about an hours worth of work.
