Has anyone watched the series yet? Any good?

Looks like they incorporate some Ender's Game story to mesh with Halo. I've never been a very big Halo fan, but this series doesn't look half bad.

Hopefully the franchise dies with this game. Halo was like the Modern warfare of the early 2000s. Bunch of kids and faggots playing that game and sucking its dick. Now they moved on to COD, but I wonder if they will jump back to halo. Probably not. Halo is outplayed now.

If i would be the franchise holder of Starhips Troopers i would bring that the same court which spanked Samsung for copying Apple. Easy win.

Episodes 1 & 2.

Each is about 15-20 minutes long, and so far it's pretty good.

I believe they're released every Friday. I'll post them as they come for you lazy asses. Good content is worth sharing.

15 minutes or not, I almost fell asleep during the first. Boring. If they could have thrown in just 30 seconds of gratuitous violence starring Master Chief... nope, still would have sucked.

It was like watching the kids you see on all those stupid Disney channel shows (you know what I mean if you have kids) in a sci-fi show. Horrid.

I guess I disagree just because I'm an Ender's Game fan and looked for the many similarities of the two stories.

Too bad you didn't like it, I'm hoping it appeals more in later episodes if you stick around.

Sadly, not likely. I'm not a fan of space sci-fi* in the first place. Only watched it because I remember playing Halo 1 & 2 years ago. Was hoping to see Master Chief wreaking havoc on the elites and grunts. Didn't expect a bunch of bad acting kids trying to make us care about their lives as they trudge through basic training.

Only thing I found remotely interesting was the warthog near the beginning.

Also, have no clue what Ender's Game is, so that didn't apply to me.

Regardless, if you enjoyed it, more power to ya. Thankfully, the world of entertainment doesn't revolve around my opinion. :D

/disclaimer/ There are a fair number of movies that are exempt from this statement. Aliens being one I can think of on short notice.
