Now, that's a fat profit margin! Not as lucrative, in terms of total revenue, as hit movies but the profit margin's definitely very attractive.

I always wondered about the profit margins on some of these newer games.

Eventually, the games will be so graphically advanced and so complex, they will cost a fortune to create and I doubt profit margins will be very high.

Hit games make tons of money. I bet Ubi made tons on Far Cry. It is still on the shelf when I was there Sunday. That game is over two years old! And the people who made it were unknown before.
