not that I know anything but it seems odd that you guys are blasting Paul for not spending enough of his money on his FIRST home if he is in fact balling! If you can get a house in a nice neighborhood that is not overly big and you are happy there who the fuck is anyone to say anything?
I know for a fact that my father is worth about 5 million. He lives in a $130,000 home that (that he bought in 1967 for $34,000. He lives in a city that has very cheap housing.) is very nice in a nice neighborhood. When I was 12 I asked why we did not live in a bigger house. His response was we don't need a bigger house.
If you look at were most of the countries millionaires live it is not in the multi million dollar homes it is in the 200 to 400k homes. Why? because they don't spend there money on stuff they don't need.
The kid is 20 years old, when he is 65, 75 if he keeps making smart choices will not be one of those people saying he can't buy something because he is on a fixed income. Buying a 500k + home just because you can is not a smart move at 20.

I read this thread and could not help but think I was back in middle school.

Perhaps you should go back to middle school. Your sentence structure and grammar are terrible.

People are blasting him because with how much money he infers he makes, he'd be able to buy a $500k house in cash.

If you can afford a $500k house, do it. Following your obviously retarded Dad's example of buying a house for $34,000 in 1967 and having it worth $130,000 now, a $500k house would be worth $1.9million in 2049.

Fuck you and your hat.

I have spoken English for less than 5 years. thanks though. English is very difficult, there are silly rules and I don't often have to write, however thanks for proving my point.

lol, I should be old enough to learn to keep my mouf shut
but it is not yen, it was kroner

Actually, now that Paul's said he fucked up, this game leaves a sour taste in my mouth.

It's fun using a poking stick when someone's constantly saying that they're on the top of the heap when they're clearly rolling on the floor... but when they finally admit they're on the floor, it just seems kinda cruel.

Seriously, Paul, you're obviously NOT an idiot, but stop trying to punch above your weight, cause you'll just get knocked on your arse.
There's nothing wrong with saying you're earning $20K instead of $200k (as in nett income, not gross). It still puts you in a better place than most people.
Bragging about stuff just makes you a target, especially if you can't back it up...

Yeah, I know Nicky, I'm a do gooder pussy... with vaginitis... and beaverteria...

So, you calculated your father's worth in kroner, and then switched to US currency, and calculated the old price and new price of the house in dollars?

I like how the dick riders hear "wickedfire" on the podcast and hop over here to defend their camp counselor.
