not that I know anything but it seems odd that you guys are blasting Paul for not spending enough of his money on his FIRST home if he is in fact balling! If you can get a house in a nice neighborhood that is not overly big and you are happy there who the fuck is anyone to say anything?
I know for a fact that my father is worth about 5 million. He lives in a $130,000 home that (that he bought in 1967 for $34,000. He lives in a city that has very cheap housing.) is very nice in a nice neighborhood. When I was 12 I asked why we did not live in a bigger house. His response was we don't need a bigger house.
If you look at were most of the countries millionaires live it is not in the multi million dollar homes it is in the 200 to 400k homes. Why? because they don't spend there money on stuff they don't need.
The kid is 20 years old, when he is 65, 75 if he keeps making smart choices will not be one of those people saying he can't buy something because he is on a fixed income. Buying a 500k + home just because you can is not a smart move at 20.
I read this thread and could not help but think I was back in middle school.
