just cause something is bought by alot of people does not mean it is any good. Not sure why you would think the country is full of smart people when it comes to business?

Well I agree.. you can apply that to Best Seller books from the Rich Dad Poor Dad bullshit, or Tony Robbins systems, or even book by Donald Trump. Just because these are American household business names, and they've made empires selling information products, doesn't mean they work. Because all of the ones mentioned here, don't. They are pre-packaged, Grade A, BULLSHIT. Just so happens that they know how to sell and speak very well, and also feed on the ever so addicting "greed factor" that so many people are pushovers with.

Exactly...I cant believe people fall for that shit over and over again but they do.

For some reason blog posts are balony magnets. The silliest comments keep coming in on the one interview I did with Markus Frind of plentyoffish. Everyone thinks its a gigantic conspiracy when they get banned and they decide to write 5 unseperated paragraphs telling me about it.

I agree but I will say this:

Bullshit to you is caviar to the guy doing carpentry work for 9 bucks an hour. He needed all the little stuff from how to create a google account to an explanation of HTML. He didn't think it was bullshit and he learned how to develop AdSense sites. The people on these forums are not the demographic that bought the book. It has it's fair share of motivational jargon but there is a ton of completely instructional information in his books, truth be told the carpenter probably needed a little motivation after confronting something totally alien.

These people go down to wally world and get a brand new $400 HP and start reading his book, if you didn't tell them to open IE to get to the web address you were talking about they might just start typing away on thier desktop. It's an entirely different world. My parents are 65ish, if you have parents close to that age or older imagine them trying to get into contextual advertising and some light may be shed on the issue at hand. My mother swears to god her e-mail "breaks" twice a week and literally cannot enter a web address without explicit instruction.
