What is really worrying here is the potential of G making a load of monopolistic moves whilst the Government is in no position to take anti-trust proceedings.

It's only so long until someone in power wakes up and realises they are far worse than MS - but at the moment they all have their hands full.

If G makes some major moves now, by the time things get back to normal enough in the economy for regulators to start functioning properly, the damage could already be done.

The comments are in the clicky Blog are true though - MS & Firefox could remove the impact of this with a single update to their browsers, so nothing huge to worry about for now.
 
Google accounts for 99% of my organic search traffic. (last 30 days : G 1,223 hits , live 7 , msn 6 , yahoo 5, ask.com 4 )

That doesn't necessarly mean the traffic isn't there with the other search engines. Maybe you just haven't optimized properly for the other engines. Most SEO advice people soak up is geared toward a focus on Google.
