Google Website Optimizer. can be used with any traffic or adwords only?

Hello,

I had some idiot manager inform someone I am working with that Google Website Optimizer can only be used for Adwords. From what I understand, this is totally false. Can someone confirm this for me? Thanks!
 


Nah, you just need an adwords account to access it. Traffic can be from anywhere.

Actually I'm not sure on the adwords account to access it - that's how it used to be. But I'm 100% positive that it tracks any type of traffic.
 
It's a multivariate testing tool. You just need a google account to sign in. That's all.
