Some people in the scraper memberships are getting their adsense accounts disabled over the last several days. Here's the message:

Hello,

While reviewing your network of sites participating in the AdSense
program, our specialists found that many of the sites are not in
compliance with Google's webmaster quality guidelines.

All AdSense publishers are required to adhere to these guidelines, as
per AdSense Program Policies.

As a result of these violations, your AdSense account has been
disabled. You will receive payment for outstanding earnings, but we're
no longer able to partner with you or your network of sites.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

A few of these guys were big players with millions of pages indexed in Y and MSN. I'm surprised Google is paying them.

Were these all MFA type sites with duplicate content? do you have an example of one of the sites?

So this doesn't put arbitrage sites on jeopardy?
They're just after the autogenerated nonsense sites?

I wouldn't think arbitrage sites would have a problem right now, if ever. I wonder if these guys were blown in by somebody. If they were making G a lot of money I would think they'd look the other way. But who knows.

Yes, MFA sites. How and what they used for content, I don't know. Could of been scrapes, markov, articles, rss feeds etc. Everybody does it different. I can tell you I'm sure they didn't use one of the page generators out of the box.

god damn, dudets wtf? is google going to tell you exactly anything? fuck no so why sweat it? if you are a pussy then remove the shit you think might be questionable otherwise don't show how stupid you are by bitting on another one of these endless threads that mean nothing and do nothing!

they must be junky looking
Most of them are junky looking. That's why I wonder if somebody blew them in for a maual review. These guys with millions of junk pages are bound to get noticed by some pissed off competitor or some boy scout who believes in that Google "do no evil" drivel.

LOL, dudets? I haven't heard that in a while.

True. Actually, Chris, the thing that interested me in the Google letter was the fact that they are paying the balance. Tons of people have stated in the past that when an account is disabled cash still owed is history. Also G has never given a shit too much about scrapers as long as they are indexed in other search engines and not theirs. I'm assuming something has changed in their policies.

have there been instances where G owes someone a reasonable amount of money and they havent paid up? reasonable meaning like 2k +, not something like 100-300 dollars

I don't know but you bring up a good point. I'm pretty sure the people I was referring to were getting considerable payouts. It's hard to know for sure because anybody can say anything online and it doesn't mean it's true. If I was stiffed back when I was making decent money I would have got my lawyer on them.

And your lawyer would do exactly what? Cry on the phone and beg for your money? Google found you breaking their TOS. That's it. They don't need anything else.

People try to remember that it's Google! If they decided, they could probably find a part in their TOS that says war in Iraq is justified. Their TOS is THAT vague. If they want to, they can pretty much always find a way to kick you out without paying because... you guessed it .. you broke their TOS..
