Google getting rid of Keyword Tool & Estimator

Not as easy as Google's original keyword tool (last 2 years), but it does the job.. not sure if I feel $100 per year though.. cut that to fitdy and we may have a deal, naw'mean.

I went and tried to frack around with it, all i could figure out ,without reading anything, is how to click this was not helpful.

Ill give it another completely half-hearted effort someday.

As a full time SEO I was pretty disappointed in the new product. I feel a lot more binded with the KW research now. For the record it appears to only be giving me exact match with everything. I couldn't find a way to fenagle my broad and phrase match back into the game. Even when I select broad/phrase, it just gives me exact anyways. This makes larger market research where there are a lot of longtails to sum up & find the similarities a lot tougher.

Though, I think if you know what you're doing you can still read in-between the lines enough to figure things out.

I do agree with an earlier comment that this less-intuitive setup does increase barrier to entry which is a good thing for members here.

Finally - I also think Google did this to 1. Increase PPC exposure (duh) and 2. Make SEO more difficult. It probably had little to do with the actual new "tool" that they will keep pointing to like a shiny object.
