Google Content Network - Low number of impressions?

My story too, all week had a 1%+ CTR on most of my adgroups (2%+ on one!) and today, not a single fucking impression. Going to concentrate on Adsonar and Pulse360 tomorrow and hopefully get back on track once the ads are approved Monday.
 


Same here. I can't get anything happening at all on the CN right now. The page itself doesn't seem to matter, too soon for complaints, fresh accounts etc.

I'm going to try another fresh account but non-MCC this time.

Will be interesting to see how long it stays like this before they open the floodgates again. Surely they can't keep everyone out forever.
 
Just a thought but did anyone else run any acai or grant stuff with these same accounts? I gave both a shot back when they were big, neither ran for more than a day but the history is still there.
 
Most of my campaigns that had rebills stopped receiving impressions as well. Will the flagging of content campaigns affect search campaigns too? Shit I'll just try it and see.
 
Unfortunately, they do not give new placements the benefit of the doubt and favor older, more predictable placements better. Google has also made me paranoid when modifying ancient campaigns with new adcopy to reflect new branding polices or other changes on my side.
Ultimately it comes down to CTR% which is the largest component of Quality Score. As a profit maximizing company Google won’t serve you impression if they feel they can earn more revenue/impression from other players in the marketplace.

My campaign was at a 2% CTR on image content. As were a couple of other peoples, so its not that they just canned all of our content campaigns because of quality score or ctr. Also if it helps the thread my campaign that was just canned was not a rebill nor a flog. It was one of the few totally legit things I was running <.<
 
It was like this at the first of the year.

Here's hoping it is just a phase.

I'm taking a deep breath and setting out to try and crack the code again tomorrow.

I'm also not running any rebills and getting pretty good CTR. Low impressions. Wasted my time preparing the campaign and preparing all the keywords. Fuck you Google!
 
When the fuck did Google add this Content Network Quality Score?

had some super-legit campaigns going on a very clean account with nice impressions on content. no more. Traffic has pretty much disappeared the last couple of days.

I thought someone had outbid/out qualitied (new word) me till I read this thread.

uhhh, how do they evaluate the relevance of your image ad for QS?

I had a image ad campaign running for a few weeks with over 1% CTR.

Zero impressions since past 48 hours!
 
The content network has undergone some serious change I don't know what the fuck it is, I just assumed my account was on some review list.

I've run some tests using some obscure cheap words and I can barely get traffic even bidding at 0.65
 
All of my G accounts are flagged too. Have been for about a month. Can't run any ads there on content. The thing that sucks is I run adv for a couple local companies as well that got flagged too.
 
I just tried contacting their support via their eMail form but the message section is disabled! It doesn't even let me type any text in the message form.

What the f*** is wrong with Google? Maybe they'll fix everything up by tomorrow.

lol... dude.. it's over... Big G caught onto your scam and closed the backdoor you had with imageads...

Go ahead and put ANY image ad into ANY adgroup and you'll get slapped to QS4 (visible when you try to add a keyword afterwards)

Image Ads on the content network are over - it was good while it lasted - now go learn some real marketing
