Good luck dude. My dad went through about 50 different tests last year, and got really freaked out. It ended up being a Cyst - nothing cancerous - even though every doctor he went to more or less told him to panic.

Apparently that's pretty common, and more than likely thats all it is. Still, sucks I know.
 
If it was a hernia, you'd know it because by now you'd be curled up in the fetal position trying not to breathe too hard.

Maybe you're getting your 3rd ball.
 
Hey man.... I wouldn't stress but I know it's hard not to. It could also be a epidermal cyst or varicose vein. Let us know how things go... I hope all goes well.
