So, after this god awful year (http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/140229-worst-year-my-life-far.html) I visit the doctor today for a check up, and to check my balls because they were hurting the past week or so.

The doctor then tells me I have "Scrotal mass" - Which he followed up saying it can be only 1 of 2 things, a cyst type mass or testicular cancer.

Now I have to go get an ultra sound on my balls and extensive blood work done.

For all who posted in the previous thread "At least you've still got your health." You jinxed me.

I'm hoping for the best, and it only turn out to be a cyst. I just can't seem to win this year.

Wish me and my balls luck.

Good luck brah... btw far more times than not it's a cyst and while testicular cancer isn't uncommon in young men the chances of it being cancer are actually extremely low (serious)

I've been doing a little research, and that does appear to be the case.

The doctor told me cyst's are usually soft and have a "squishy" feeling, while the mass on my balls is harder, which he said harder is not good.

Idk, I'm just losing my mind.

That sucks man. Hopefully it's just a cyst. But in case it isn't, try not to freak out too much.

2 of my friends have had testicular cancer and they both got off scott-free with surgery and a little radiation therapy (no chemo). Of course, I really hope you don't have to go through that. Just know that it's not a death sentence if it comes back positive for cancer.

All the best.

you know when they say if you keep talking about all the bad stuff that's happened to you, it's like a chain reaction and bad luck will follow you? i truly believe that... start talking positive and don't rant on forums already. good luck bro.

I had a cancer scare a while back and it turned out to be nothing.

I got an ultrasound done on my liver/kidneys and they found a "growth". Had to wait like 2 months to get some follow up tests. The whole time I'm just freaking out. Finally went in on a Friday and got the MRI done. That weekend I was an absolute wreck. Monday morning doctors calls me and as it turns out, it was just an ultrasound machine malfunction. I was fine and there was no growth.

It was biggest sigh of relief I've ever had. I felt like I got a 2nd chance.

You're in my thoughts man, hope it's just a benign growth and you can get it removed with no problems! Maybe it's just a hernia? Did the doc mention anything about that?

Coin flip, 50 % it won't be cancer. Everything in life has a balance, if one year is a living hell the next one will be the best year of your life. Good luck, bro!

It appears from research and case studies I've read, if caught early enough it can be easily fixed with what you mentioned.

Hmm maybe just suicide

Might be more fun

+1

Good luck mofo

Haha, thanks.

That's the thing, I've ranted only 1 time before, I'm usually very collective with my thoughts.

Honestly, I have found it to be good therapy to talk here on WF. Sounds gay, but this is a gay webmaster forum.

That's extremely lucky. Should have sued for distress, lol. That's a long time to think you're ill.

As far as a hernia, he mentioned it, but the texture of the growth narrowed it down to a cyst or cancer.

I do appreciate the thoughts.

In that case, I can't fucking wait for next year.

Sorry to read about your series of unfortunate events. When it goes south it really does, but don't give up. It will work out, and if you have got your health clear, you will get everything and more back.

3 words Lance Fucking Armstrong
So what if its cancer if it is go and kick its ass

Doctors are idiots when it comes to bedside manner (so ironic since I think that's where the term originated ). They really should have just said, "It's most likely a cyst, we'll know more when the results come back. "

Years ago, I had a "roughpatch" on my lip that was persistent. I went to the doctor thinking it was just a sort of Eczema or something and he says "It could be cancer" I almost choked. WHAT? CANCER?? Turns out it was just a really chapped spot or, yeah, ...Eczema. But that was a fun wait.

Fuckers.
