Gmail now allows multiple Logins

^^

When you open Gmail on another tab it automatically logs you in to the older login. And when you click Logout it logs you out from the older account as well!

Please atleast know what you're writing :)

A) Please, at least study grammar a bit more. Especially if you're going to advertise article writing services.

B) When you open gmail and gmail for domains in separate tabs it works just fine. Not all of us are still using an @gmail.com email address for professional correspondence. Some of us have moved on and are using domains.

Thanks for your time this morning.

This thread was specifically meant for people using @gmail.com email addresses.

Now, you being a smartass and having "moved on" to using Gmail for Domains does not really change the fact that the majority of us still stick to the regular @gmail.com address.

Also, logging into gmail and gmail for domains are two different things and an entirely different cookie is rendered in both cases. It is almost the same as logging into two different websites. The news is that Gmail has now begun allowing multiple logins on their own website.

So your argument is rendered pointless, my friend.

As stated before, please atleast take the time to read the thread and know what's going on before jumping in with your oversmart one-liners :)

isn't anyone using IMAP?

I am not, but a quick search of their site shows (the use of IMAP) it's possible... as well as outbound SMTP it seems.

...this should allow seamless use between all your clients, including their web interface.

:D

EDIT: as for checking your mail via. web at other places (mentioned in original post), I'm sure there are web based e-mail services that let you sync multiple accounts, g-mail and/or otherwise.

sorry for the lack of info in my post here, but maybe it'll help somehow -- crashing from lack of coffee at the moment...:food-smiley-010:

Sir, I'm going to have to ask you to calm down and stop raging on the internets please.

Please take a moment to read this simple account of what just happened here, broken down into short 3rd grade reading level bullets for you.

  1. I made a simple statement about how "I" do it.
  2. You began to rage.
  3. You tried to claim I didn't know what I was talking about.
  4. I pointed out that you fail at spell-check and that it is funny because you advertise writing services.
  5. I then explained to you why what I said was correct and how it works.
  6. You began to ultra-rage and claim that it's not the same as what the OP was saying.
  7. I returned to this thread just now to explain to you that again, I was making a statement about how "I" do it.

There is no "argument" to be "rendered pointless" because I wasn't disagreeing with anyone. I made a simple statement which somehow ignited the flame of teen angst within you. You felt a strong desire from within your bosom to jump in and go "Uhnt Uhh!!" even though it was completely unnecessary and demonstrated your incomplete understanding of what I was saying..

I'm deeply sorry my initial post in a thread on the internet offended you so much. I hope this explanation has helped you and that we can be friends.

Lol @ you writing such a huge post asking me to calm down. I am not even going to bother reading that!

Have a good day!
