Been forever since I was into comics, may be to old, but i barely knew the classics as it was.

Is this a hobby worth getting into, is it that gratifying having a $400 comic that you won't read.

I'm just curious, as I was really into as a kid. Here's a list of wizards top 10 strongest superhero's that kinda shocked me.

Wizard's Top 10 Superhero List

thanks

I still have my collection from when I was a kid. With a wide range of comics dating from the 60s to the 90s. Over 1000. May be small to more avid collectors but I'm impressed with it.

I even have a signed copy of Hulk vs Wolverine. And the story arc where Wolverine gets the adamantium ripped from his bones by Magneto as well as gold cover book-editions of the Age of Apocalypse story arc.

Man... fucking nerd alert me already.

I have around 250 comics from my childhood, mostly 20-25 years old. Looking around online they're mostly worth less than they were around 15 years ago. I guess the internet has increased supply by giving you easy access to everyone's private collections. The most valuable ones are around $30, mosty X-men and Spiderman. And a few Batman. Most of the stuff I thought would be worth something (like Punisher #1) were worth just a few bucks (after letting my investment sit for 25 years).

It's pointless if you want to do it for the money. But if you love comics and like hunting down rare items and digging through boxes looking for hidden gems and all that kind of thing then it might be a valuable hobby.

Yeah I never collected them for money. That wasn't even on my mind as a kid. I just thought they were fun to read and actually helped me read more.

and yeah most of mine are only worth cents to a few bucks to like $10-20-30-40 I have a few worth $100+ though. Like the first original The Tick comic... or it use to be worth a pretty penny... I haven't checked it in a while.
