Hi guys, I'm new to AM, trying to break through the learning curve and all.
Here is a question to guys who already do it for living. My ultimate goal is freedom of location, so I can live wherever I want - pick a place with better climate, lower taxes, lower cost of living or richer culture. Location shouldn't affect your business as soon as it has a reliable internet connection. I guess it doesn't mutter where you create your campaigns from.
Anybody here did that, thought about it? I know it's way too early for me to think about it. But it's good to have a desirable goal ahead. So, where do full time IM ppl live?

I live in the woods.. in a motorhome now but building a cabin.. Gonna get a couple of Akita dogs.. don't come looking for me and don't ask me any more questions..

you can get me making $10,000 per month and live in your mum's basement?
This is fucked up. Has its advantages I guess

Yes, I did that. Started in one state, now live in a completely different place, and I travel whenever I like. I've run my business from a beachfront hotel in Thailand, from a Vegas bar, and from the visitor's center at the Grand Canyon.

No inventory, no office, no problem.

The idea that you'll be able to live where ever you like is a bit of a lie.
You'll be able to live wherever you like, so long as you have internet access... Which is surprisingly few places if you're wanting the tropical beach lifestyle.
The alternative is to get a portable satellite uplink, but those cost a shitload, and speeds are crap.
The best you're really going to be able to do is to live in a nice beach side town, and hope it isn't too tourist scummy.

They have the broadband modems (USB) now. I have one from Verizon. Very satisfied with it.
