haha this sounds like me that time i was waiting in line at costco member services

I looked to my right and see a stream of old people walking out the door carrying fruit
*no carts or other items? is the first thought that goes through my mind
I turn to my left and see a line of old people at the return counter holding fruit and their receipts.

Around here we had 2 DMV's. One was nice and in a good area, the other is in the hood and it was acceptable to be scared about going there. Waited for 5 hrs one day at the nice one before they closed before I was able to get anything done. Next day went to the one in the hood and walked in and out in 10 min, and survived.

Funny thing is, the nice one closed and now you have no choice but to go wait around all day in the scary one.
 
Go when most people are at work, not during lunch hour. And probably not right when they open or right when they close.

Go to one where less people live.

Just like day parting a campaign or getting into a low competition niche :)
 
Our DMV is getting pretty crafty. When have kiosks in supermarkets now where you can do a good majority of things. Registration, Renewals, etc...

I've been watching their movements for years.

*puts on tin foil hat*
These old people meet at ihop at 5am to divide into districts.

By 6am they got their district assignments and they rally at their district mcdonalds to coordinate their annoyance attacks while crowding the coffee machines so no young people going to work can get caffeine.

From there they form lines and do a frontal assault on the retail establishments right as they open.

By the time the young people get off work around 6pm and can exact a retaliation all the old people are in bed.

must be something wrong with me.. I find this entire situation to brighten up my day, even though it was already good.
 
In my county in FL you can renew and change address online, so the only time I had to go inside was right after I moved here.

That said, the state I moved from had the DMV shut down by Homeland Security in my county because the retards were giving out too many licenses to illegal Mexicans. The line was usually wrapped around the building.
