This will help you stop getting meatspun by douchebags.That shit is getting fucking old and annoying...

In Windows XP
1. Click Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt2. Click Command Prompt This will open a DOS command window.
3. Type: notepad C:/Windows/System32/drivers/etc/hosts
4. Locate the line 127.0.0.1 localhost
5. To block the website makesmoniesonline.com for example, just add this text under 127.0.0.1 localhost:

127.0.0.1 www.makemoniesonline.com
127.0.0.1 makemoniesonline.com
You can add as many sites any site, However you will need to prefix it with "127.0.0.1".

6. Save the file
Meatspin will now be blocked in all web browser. This is an advanced but easy method on how to block a website.

Technically, you're not blocking it, you're just telling your computer to look locally for that site. When it doesn't find it, 404.

btw in xp, you could just do Window+R then type cmd, that'll bring up the command prompt faster.

Also in OS X to do the same
Use something like Text Wranger or BBEdit (or if you're a vi person use that)
open up /etc/hosts (you may need to use 'open hidden' in textwrangler)
Edit as mentioned above and save it.
Then flush the DNS cache by typing dscacheutil -flushcache into terminal (Application->Utilities)

XP users may need to reboot after modifying the hosts file, especially if they already been dickrolled once.

Me... I Just use adBlock on firefox to easily block the .swf, but the method above will prevent access all together. You may however see your own local website if you're a developer like me and have a local webserver running on your computer. :D

or you can change 127.0.0.1 to the IP of your favorite site :D

+1

Props

I played along and scrolled over every anchor tag to see if it links to the meatspin, but now some posters are taking time out their day to do redirects from other sites. Shit is def getting annoying and old.

If you get dickrolled you need to learn to just accept it, it was your fault for clicking the link.

Quit being a pussy about it and man up.

:P And when people start masking links into every possible combination? I think it goes a little beyond 'you should have just checked the url' when people start posting legit looking offers and masking the url to lead you to being dickrolled.

I personally just blocked the swf after the first time. Its not the "oh god help" reaction that some 12 year olds on here are expecting but rather, 'this shit is really getting annoying'. But I guess we need makemoniesonline.com to keep the pubescent members happy on here.

I have this awesome Firefox plug in called 'Block Site' and when ever makemoniesonline.com is posted it un links it, and if I get directed there it blocks it. Solved.

That gives me an idea, is there a way of redirecting an IP to make monies online, i have a competitor who is all over my site daily, i blocked him on the server but i'd like to spin some meat for him.

Try something like this (with php):

Code:
<?php
  $visitor = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
  if (preg_match("/192.168.0.1/",$visitor)) {
        header('Location:  http://www.makemoniesonline.com');
  } else {
        header('Location:  http://www.yoursite.com');
  };
  ?>

I can't figure out what's more funny. The idiots who continue to fall for the mmo link, or all the whiny bitches on here who post rants about it.

The way I see it, having the mmo at every possible corner keeps the DPers out: Kind of 'culls the herd' if you will.

If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen bitches.
