K, go redownload the one I just posted, its MUCH simpler to work with since I took the hardcoded paths out

Jon, yes you can put it in the tools section.
 
mabye ill release part of my new script at some point, it has much better content generation than just wikipedia.. has a 24000 article database + scrapes from some apis and rss feeds on top of wikipedia. Also some split testing for the templates on a per niche basis. But we will start with the vanilla basic version :)
 
I'm new here but been reading everything I can about arbitrage here at Wickedfire for a little while now. I am about to jump in the game and start building sites. Thanks for posting your script, this will help me out big time to start :)

I have a tad little problem, don't know if you can help me? I get the following error:

Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/boena/public_html/a/bot.php on line 12

In my php.ini it says:
open_basedir/home/boena:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp

Should i change something here to get it to work???

Try setting safe mode to off in the php ini
otherwise google on how to remove the open_basedir setting in php.ini
ini_get('safe_mode') <---- run that in the script to see if safemode is on
 
Safe mode is off... I've tried several things to set the open_basedir to NULL but nothing has worked. Wrote the support now at the hosting company, let's see if they can help me figure it out...

I have the same problem as well. I also contacted my hosting company and they said that:

"You will need to update your script. This method of using curl is depreciated in the more recent PHP versions and you should consult the script makers website to see if they have an update out."

I have no idea if that is correct.
 
Props lerchmo! I'm impressed with how little code it takes to run. I'm gonna give this sucker a try once I break it down.

That fix worked fine, thanks for that. But the images on the site it generates do not display properly. It either shows the 1st image and then the rest are broken images or it shows the 1st image but from a different page that was generated (example: generate a page for 'Dentist' but will show the 1st image from 'Phones') and then the rest are broken images. Any ideas why?
 
i gave you rep for the script and the help youve been posting.

One question.

I used Jessica Alba as my keyword and it brought up about 50 words from wikipedia, but i know theres a lot more. is the script only pulling from the first paragraph on wikipedia or a limit to the amount of words or something?
