Following up on my last post about finding that Wiki-linked domain—I’ve had a few people ask me how I actually make sure these domains aren't "toxic" before I drop the cash to register them.
Finding the domain is the fun part, but vetting it is where the real work happens. I’ve seen way too many people get excited over a high DA only to realize the domain was used as a Chinese pharma site for three years and is basically radioactive in Google's eyes.
My current workflow is pretty streamlined now. I use DHG to find the raw list, but then I pipe everything through DomDetailer to get the Majestic and Moz stats instantly. If the Trust Flow doesn't look right or the anchor text is even slightly "spammy," I bin it immediately. Credits are cheap, but a burned PBN is expensive.
