Florianopolis

I live in Indiana. It sucks here. Everyone is fat, it's always dark, it's cold, the cops are insane, the people are ultra conservative socially, the women are either fat or married at 20, there is nothing to do except drink, I could go on...

Those feels... I have a place close to you.

Congrats btw.

Argentina is the shit too, if you get a chance. BA is full of beautiful women and if you want to see one of the most beautiful places in the world, check out San Carlos Barlioche

Go for it man! 28 is young and you'll be 30 before you know it unless you take action now!

Go go go!

Move to Boca or Ft. Lauderdale (american top team is there) live in a condo @ the beach, bang chicks from anywhere in the world you want. imo.

Florianopolis and most Brazil only for a vacation, even long vacation, keep your business somewhere else.
All the videos you have been watching about Florianopolis are done by local tourism departments, not anything is gold, not any woman is hot as hell.

lol shit, you just described my worst nightmare. Even Somalia sounds more exciting than this. I'll make sure I avoid that state.

I'd recommend going on vacation there a couple times first and seeing if it actually stays as great as you think it is. I've vacationed to a couple places where my immediate thought was "holy shit I want to move here" and then after awhile I didn't want to anymore.

Also, when you go there on vacation, just book an appointment with a realtor and have her show you some places. Since she obviously lives there she should be familiar with your basic questions like "what do people do for fun" and "what drugs are legal" so just ask her everything, and then you can probably find a forum or a cheap lawyer to answer the more obscure ones.

we're all gonna make it bro

Go take a vacation to brazil to escape the cold weather but don't make any long term plans just yet.

mo money mo problems

no. we're not gonna make it. we already make it. we're makers gents.

With the exception of the cold part, that sounds like small town life in any state.

Wow thanks a ton guys, the support is overwhelming. My biggest hurdle right now is paying off about 23k in student debt before I leave. I could probably have this paid off in 23 days if no campaigns died, but shit has been getting tougher. So I am testing constantly to diversify and find more profit.

For instance, today. I've never tried Credit before. I run on PPV only for now. I get a ballin ass keyword/URL list, a combo from AMs, my rep at the traffic source, google keyword planner, and quantcast. Take the top two landers off boxofads, modify slightly. Link to a proven offer (FS360) that's been around forever. End result? About $150 made and $900 spent on that today.

This is because bids on words like "free credit report online" are $1.50. ON PPV. That's insane, but you'd think it converts every time. It does not. So based on my CTR and CVR on this unoptimized campaign, I've come to the conclusion that $30 payout * 1% CTR * 10% CVR = Don't bid over 3 cents. However this limits the keywords I get traffic too and my volume, and still isn't making money. This shit is hard. Maybe I just got lucky.

I should probably pocket half my profit and roll the other half into testing but that feels like I'm moving at a snail's pace when the next great campaign is right around the corner. Today, I think I lost money.

Charles Martel, could you PM me your skype?

Eliquid, could you PM me your skype as well? I live in Carmel.

I am considering BA as well, actually. How's the cost of living?

Why do you need to pay them off before you leave? My student loans had low interest rates, so I paid them off as slow as possible. I used that money to make more money instead.

That's something to consider. Details:

47k of govt student loans. Half at 5.25%, half at 6.55%. Half subsidized, half unsubsidized. I can deduct $2500 of interest on my taxes if i make under 70k (not a goal I really want). They are in deferment until 2019 meaning I pay no interest on the subsidized portion and I don't have to make payments at all if I don't feel like it.

Currently I don't see a way of using that money to make more money as you say (not something pennypinching like investing in stocks at a higher rate). This is because I don't yet have cashflow issues with my affiliate marketing stuff, so it's not a matter of hitting a money limit. If you have suggestions I'm open.

I could say fuck it and just move before the unsub portion is paid, but I need to be making like $400 payments on them per month at least in that scenario, which is a chain I'd rather not have around my neck when dealing with stuff as volatile and uncertain as AM. At least right now it appears to be volatile.

What I'd like to know is, how does a US citizen deal with the double taxation that is thrown at you once you start working in another country and live there?

Do you need to give up your citizenship to get out of that double tax?

There is only one question to the where to live question and that is Thailand. We've got ladyboys, cheap beer and LukeP.

For reals though, if I lived in the states I'd hit up your own backyard Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, Argentina, Belize, many options.

Or go bang Rihanna black chicks in the Carribean for a while. I heard the Dominican had some nice beaches and hot women too.

Good thread. I'd like to know more about that 87k of tax exemption for living overseas. Anyone have experience with this?

As for socal...perfect weather, good produce/fresh fruits, good beaches.

But quite expensive...oh and 13.3% state income tax on the top bracket (highest in nation) and 8% sales tax (one of the highest). Good luck.

It's December, GTFO out of Indiana now, why spend any more time in the cold weather?

I thought about moving to Brazil for awhile. This time last year I decided to head to Austin from Philly to test moving somewhere where I don't know anyone. It turned out great 'cause the weather is much warmer and there are way more hot girls. After doing some more research I'm thinking Costa Rica is gonna be better for me than Brazil, so I'm going for three months starting in February to see if I want to move there permanently.

Anyway, fuck the cold weather and ugly, fat chicks. If anything just go to SoCal or something while you figure out the logistics of moving to a different county with a different language.
