Sup guys! Damn, it's been a while since last update. I love coming here after some time and see how much progress I made. Its like looking from bird perspective on your project or some shit like that, I don't know.
So last time I updated I was at 600 visitors a day. I just noticed it is actually exactly two months later. Few days ago I hit 3000 visitors a day.
Both social and organic traffic are growing steadily. Actually, few days ago, Pinterest traffic became higher than organic.

Pinterest is doing alright. Just last week I had few pics "go viral". One pic got 11k repins, second one got 7k repins and last three pics got 3k repins each.
So that is nice.
I am currently not anywhere close where I would like to be with this site. There is so much potential in both branding and traffic generation. At this moment the site is a little nicer looking adsense site. It can be, and it will be so much more.
Right now, site is naturally ranking in Google and getting social traffic. I did't build any links, just basically using keyword in titles and that is it. Every article has lots of pics and we are using that for sharing on Pinterest. Site have like 1.5k followers as I said before that does not affect getting traffic at all.
As I said there is much more to do with this site. I am also not spending enough time growing it. Why? Well that is another story. Basically little over a year ago my friend and I decided we want to do something. He was last year in college, he liked programming. I dropped out of the college some time ago. So we decided to build software product for local market (we live in one country in Eastern Europe). Customers are basically still using pen paper and Word for everything they do. We saw opportunity and started building product.
Fast forward to now.
There was lots of "pivots" that we made, made some money, lost some money, made ton of mistakes and learning a lot. Now a year later it is more clear that customer are not that interested in the product as we initially thought. We are running short on money now and trying to sell as much as we can so we can get some time to find other customers for custom development or something like that. We are basically building web apps in Java.
Hopefully we get back on our legs soon and I have more time for growing my site.
