Favorite Movie In 2010?



The Hangover, Inception, or Tron.. I think that'd have to be my top 3 in no order... Alright maybe Tron was cooler than the other movies because it was in 3D and I've been waiting years to see it... But Daft Punk's soundtrack was kinda disappointing.
 
I would go for inception because the way he screen played is awesome, i dont think Expendables is as expected.
 
I rather enjoyed Inception as well. Not sure what the deal with the Expendables is though, it wasn't *that* bad.
 
The Social Network goes to the top of my list. The Town was pretty decent and True Grit wasn't bad either. I'm still interested in seeing Fair Game and The Fighter.
 
Not the best movie probably, but best "documentary" was Exit Through the Gift Shop. Its on Netflix instant streaming for those interested. It doesn't really seem like it would be that good, but I was surprised how much I liked it. I think there is some interesting marketing aspects to it as well. (Shit, I just noticed sampunk mentioned this one already).

^The Town is worth the watch even though I hate Ben Affleck.
 
any great comedy movies you guys liked this year? I just saw "The Other Guys" and was kinda disappointed. "She's Out Of My League" was pretty funny. Looking to watch some new ones.
 
Gonna make some people mad here.... but TRON sucked.

Problems:
- A plot that goes no where
- Telling rather than showing in all the 'flashbacks'
- Essentially the same story board as the first one (get sucked into computer, throwing discs, light bike, escape, plot how to escape, ride beam to central beam, beam out)

Sooo much wasted potential.
 
I'm going to have to call it and say that Inception is the clear winner. I have to agree. It's rare to see something that creative and original come out of Hollywood, with all the remakes and shit plots. Hat Tip to The Town, pretty good movie.

I wish Michael Mann would make something soon (I've forgiven him for Miami Vice).
 
anyone else see "a prophet" ? I think i might be the only one, about a guy inside a french jail working his way to the top. V good
