Fake reviews for sales

I don't, but I read a lot of reviews that I am certain fit this description.
More commonly, though, the "fake" review is a negative review of ten products with a "but there's one product that really stood out." A little investigation shows that the standout product is not just an affiliate opportunity, but the actual product of the reviewer. I've seen this a lot lately.

offtopic but what's great is the fake amazon reviews, have you guys seen those?

I'd liek to hope that reviews are all genuine but sadly it doesn't surprise me to hear there are fake ones.
I reviewed my text messaging site on another site, but I didn't lie anywhere I just said it was really cool 
What fake testimonials???? You aren't saying that some of these people did NOT become instant millionaires off these info products are you? Knowing that, I now feel so much less stupid for failing to become an instant millionaire myself, but more stupid for being quite so gullible.
Seriously, I got the chance of a lifetime (one time only) to dowload for free (usually sells for $4297) a collection of ebooks. The best part is that every single one of them had the exact same testimonial, with nothing changed but the book title and author name and they were full of non-English (which would be fine if they weren't intended to be in English)
