Facebook...Now What?

Alright so Ive been there done that - bout 100 accounts later I think Im actually banned, not just account disabled banned from facebook. I know I know I got overzealous. Has anyone else experienced this? You create new accounts and put in your Card but you wont ever get any impressions...

Whats the solution: Change IP, Credit Card, Name, Destination URL, etc?

Any personal experiences would be great - thanks
 


How about following their rules next time?

The advice thread went bad last time, so those that still have campaigns going are going to reveal publicly (in a forum that Facebook is well aware of) any methods of getting around filtering.
 
Facebook customer service and support is worthless anyway so they won't help you. I posted in the other thread that they sent me a slightly expanded list from what is in their TOS. I didn't pick an offer off this new list and still my account got banned. These are the emails that follow. They are very Googleesque is their cryptic we can't tell you BS.


"I followed the list you gave me at the bottom and steered clear of these offers. I put up something regarding education and financial aid and my ad is once again disabled. Could you please let me know why?"

FB Response:

"Facebook is committed to presenting ads to our users that are useful
and non-intrusive, and we are continually working to increase the
relevance of ads. Our goal is to provide the highest quality user
experience. We reserve the right to reject any advertising that we
deem contrary to these objectives. Similarly, we reserve the right to
close an account creating ads contrary to these objectives.

For this reason, if any of your flyers have been removed or your
Flyers Pro account has been disabled, we will be unable to reactivate
either. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please
consider this decision final.

Thanks for your understanding,"

"This is a completely useless email. I have asked you for more information regarding your terrible TOS. You gave me some information and it still was no good. Why can you not just give a paying customer a straight answer. I am asking these question so I may be compliant with your terms. Since your written TOS are completely useless since they leave out half of the information I was hoping you would be more helpful. Simply sending me a form email with no explanation is unbelievable. Its not as though I am trying to scam or do anything shady. I am an advertiser asking what kinds of ads do you accept and then based on what you tell me I put up an ad that does not go against the information I was given but that does not work. I don't see why you refuse to work with the advertiser at all."

FB response

"Unfortunately we cannot provide you with the specific violations that
have been deemed abusive. Please review our Terms and Guidelines
if you have further questions. This will be our final correspondence.

So after a testy email it seems like they are done with me and they refuse to give any advice. How is this a 1 billion dollar website and it can't even properly run a 50 dollar advertising program.
 
Does anyone know what their policy is regarding multiple flyer pro accounts?

I'd like to make a new account and try and stick to their advertising guidelines more closely, but not going to do anything till they make it a bit more clear what their terms of service are.
 
I tossed up a flyer last night and I've survived till today. I've decided to add 4 more flyers with similar wording and look - so far so good. I'll keep you guys posted.
 
How about not keeping us posted? Anything you write here about how to get around their filters (or that you are) will be read by their team.
 
i tried two flyer pro
one with an affiliate link
and one with a cloaked link
cloaked link got impressions, but nowhere near the traffic i was hoping
affiliate link received no impressions period
 
Prolly a super noob question here, but I was thinking of doing some FB advertising with Flyer Pro, and what is the advantage of having like 100 accounts? You can send pretty much all you want on a single campaign right?

Is this kind of like trying to beat google adwords? Having like 5 accounts, 5 different landing pages however all pointing to the same affiliate link so you basically "own" the top 5 listings for the keywords you are bidding on?

I am really confused!
 
Yeah I have a pretty simply translation regarding their email to you:

"We bend over for the corporate guys opening $100,000/month accounts with us"

I tried a few campaigns, they got stopped, promoting anything young careless teens/adults actually want (free shit) is practically impossible, unless you open an Integrated Account and are commited to huge advertising $$$

Hell, when you offer them large spend, they'll tell you that MSN needs to contact you (and they can't offer any details), and that MSN will contact you within 7-10 business days. 2 weeks response time when I offer well over $50,000 on the first month of a buy? Fuck that, someone needs to push MSN, or else MSN is screwing over Facebook.

I have a feeling that FB has a lot of extra inventory that flyers & MSN are not filling (so why not increase flyer pro allotments?) because I know for a fact that someone in their ad department signed up today with a large affiliate network (not a CPA network) for Facebook directly.

Already tried rerouting. Still get banned. No matter where I re-rerouted. Then I ended, what with the legal crap.

I have facebook spiders still hitting my landing pages and my account was disabled and banned two weeks ago.
 
Well shit don't let me scare ya with all the FB checking pages bullshit, keep this thread rolling.

Last 4 days:
Day 1: 483.67 Profit (FB Adv Alone)
Day 2: 425.99 Profit (FB Adv Only)
Day 3: 56.72 Profit (Had a fucking tooth ache and didnt work at all, but came from FB adv)
Day 4: 248.42 Profit (Today, Still under the weather from yesterday's dentist appt.)

It still fucking works... just do what is ALLOWED TO BE ADVERTISED AND YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE A PROBLEM.
-If Your ad gets disabled - try promoting something else... if they catch you keep doing the same ad over after being disabled, your account is going to get disabled (yes there is a difference between the two- Accound Diasabled = No more anything but friends and stupid bullshit)
Ad Disabled= You can still post another ad, but keep it withing their mysterious "Guidlines" that have not been updated in forever!

Just think college/HS peak "online time" and you should be set...

Just takes a little thought to make some big money off new things.
 
sure i guess thats my problem i dont know what can be promoted ive tried all kinds of shit, not affiliate links straight up either...i always get banned i dunno i guess ill keep trying i suppose eventually ill make a lot and write up my next drunken tutorial
