Just keep on submitting .. and once a week they'll approve. I know it sucks .. I submitted 10 ads .. and all disapproved .. I was like WTF .. resubmitted ... on 6th day all approved.
Maybe they have 5 years old sitting on the network to approve and disapprove ads.

Yeah just lost $50, cool not much right, what sucks it was a $2 CPC!!!!! fucking 25 clicks for choosing CPM and not placing an image by mistake. (whtout pausing the damn ad)
These guys need to get their shit together, I hate it when the ads get approved randomly like that. A simple notification or something is enough.

Still sounds like you guys are sending the Facebook ad review teams to the actual URL/Landing page that the end users will see, if thats the case and your trying to earn a buck, your basically shit outta luck.
Stick with what works, send the ad team to an alternate definatly legit content article related to the advertisement and send all the other users to your actual landing page.
Sure you may get a slap if caught but its a choice of getting 1 ad in 50 approved or getting 50 outta 50 ads approved.

The trick is to contact them and be overly expressive at how your ads are getting rejected for no good reason. I took screenshots, wrote text, used obnoxious red arrows - basically made them look like assholes. Now, when I need something approved I contact my gal on the inside and she pushes it through - as long as I am compliant. She has been a real sweetheart to work with - Unfortunately, the conversions on facebook have sucked a FAT DICK in comparison to my other traffic sources. Fuck facebook and fuck me for picking the wrong offer. Im just as much to blame. I'm currently not sweating FB as a traffic source, as the clicks have been garbage.
