Same deal with EWA. Was promoting a credit report offer and got suspended for using PPC which wasnt specified as "not allowed" under offer specifications. Repeated attempts to solve this issue with Tom resulted in no action. No response from Ryan either.
Too bad because other than that it was a really good network to work with...
Ryan since you are active here maybe you can take a look at my case.
EWA regularly neglects to disclose offer restrictions (restricted search keywords, proper allowed channel lists, disallowed ad verbiage [qualityhealth offers], regions that traffic allowed [KGB deal brokered from Epic]) on offers pages. Not quite sure if it's laziness or purposeful on their part, but frankly, it's not good for affiliates or advertisers.
But it wouldn't take more than 30 seconds to find the offer on the originating network and copy over the terms. If a network is brokering, they're obligated to pass on any original IO terms to the brokered network, just as they're obligated to pass on such restrictions to normal affiliates. It's not just Epic on EWA - It's EWA.when offers are brokered and there is no direct communication with the advertiser, shit like this happens all the time and the affiliates will be the ones getting screwed by the broker's lack of communication. yet another reason people shouldn't run brokered offers
