Okay wait....I think you just gave me an idea! Can I bring Petey over to Thailand with me? What are their gun laws like? Can I bribe my way into owning my gun worst case?
I can't believe you guys take anything he claims seriously after he claimed that he could virtually become an Adsense billionaire if he decided to scale out an Adsense farm large enough.
The guy is obviously earning VERY little money (doesn't he live in Kansas or some other place in flyover country?) and spending ALL OF HIS TIME typing out his dreams instead of making them happen.
Now, there are people like this ALL over the internet (Alexa Smith or Steve Waggenheim ring a bell?) the secret to not wasting your time is to take EVERYTHING they say with a grain of salt because they'll write thousands of posts for the rest of their life and accomplish nothing in the real world...

They're gun laws are a lot like ours... A friend of mine there has a huge collection at home and didn't need a permit for any of them... But I don't know much about CCW laws, perhaps that is different.
Thailand has actually very strict gun control laws. Is your friend a Thai or foreigner? If foreigner, does he have PR status or citizenship? If not, then those guns are illegal, and he could get up to 10 years (maybe it's 5, can't remember) for possession. It's impossible for a foreigner to get a gun license without PR status, and even then it's difficult.
That's actually one of the things I don't like, but it's understandable. I've never even shot a gun before, but nonetheless, wouldn't mind getting trained and having a little biometric safe up here in my office with a small handgun in it. One of those things you hope you never need to use, but if you ever do need it, you'll be glad it's there.
Oh well, I have 90kgs of fierce dogs who love me to no end, so they do a good job of keeping the house safe.
