I guess I wasn't the only one to get this email :

The domain is a namecheap domain with privacy guard (And I can't imagine my info on their end is wrong either.

So i'm curious whether this is something someone did in reporting a bunch of domains or what.

Got the same email. Probably some asshole reporting.

Seems to be all for bizop sites (I have a feeling someone went down a list of flogs that's been going around in the complaint website areas and just reported every single one).

Just got this :

Hello,

eNom has successfully completed verification of your WHOIS contact information for your domain(s).

As such, no further action is necessary on your part.

Thank you for your prompt reply and attention to this matter.

did you reply to the first email they sent you before you got this ?

I asked a few people, and sent them a list that had been floating around for flogs (On some complaint board) and I guess his flog was on the list too.

Yes , i got the email after I had responded.

What's the big deal here? Are you guys using fake WHO IS info? Namecheap provides WHOIS/NAMEGUARD for free, or:

1. Create a DBA or LLC for cheap, use that as the registrant.
2. Put a bogus name for first/last name, if anyone asks, you say it's your webmaster and they registered the site, etc. Or, you can put company name in the First/Last Name fields (e.g. ACME / MARKETING)
3. Get a free jConnect phone, fax, or pay the $10 a month and get all mails, voice mails, faxes forwarded right to your primary email.
4. Go to a UPS Store near you and get a box for $300 a year.
5. You're all set. You have an address, phone, fax, email address, all pointing away from the real you.

As mailers, we get those ENOM letters all the time, but we switch domains daily so we're not married to them like you guys are, so I understand you want to say "FUCK YOU" to these guys but can't. Allow me to ;-)

Ye same thing here

Problem in whois block: Registrant Contact
--- Error in address: Incorrect address
--- Error in name: No such person or entity
--- Comment: Over the past several months, a large number of domain names have been registered using false whois information that is being publicly displayed or false registration information that is being hidden from public display through privacy protected registration services. These domains are now being used to host webpages that seek to scam consumers with "get rich quick" schemes and that infringe on the trademarks of legitimate companies such as Google Inc.

FTC cracking down on Bizop

The FTC wouldn't file WHOIS complaints, they would subpoena the registrar and just shut it down... this is just some assfuck reporting the competitors he's jealous of 'cause he blows goats.. or maybe the pedo warriors are attacking.... :banana_sml::banana_sml:
