In most cases, the mark of a championship caliber team is being able to play poorly and still get the win.

Unfortunately for England, they've yet to really play well, or play anyone who has challenged them. I really cant see them getting past the quarters.
 


England were poor again, they'll really need to step their game up against some of the bigger nations. Aaron Lennon showed some good touches when he came on so maybe Sven should look at that for the quarter final and drop Frank Lampard.

If hitting the ball wide or over the bar from 30 yards scored as many points as a goal, Lampard would be the world record holder.
 
I cant believe how people are complaining about this match, all my friends are moaning that we didnt win 3 or 4 nil. At the end of the day England are in the quarter finals of the world cup without getting out of second gear. The sign of a good team is winning when not playing at your best. Id settle for 3 more 1-0 wins like that thanks :)
