Eminem's 'Recovery' Explodes At No. 1 on Billboard 200 With 741,000

basically their entire target audience pays for music, plus that age group is the largest in the country...the eminem fan generation does not have baby boomer generation numbers...plus...ac/dc never did 1.7mil in a week.

Yeah, but for a variety of reasons, it's still a rarity for older artists to move units. For every AC/DC, there might be 20 bands that used to go platinum, that would now be happy to sell 100,000.

The digital are not included in that total....

That would add another 255k to his totals. There is a long story on it somewhere.

I know they didn't used to, but if you look above it says "made up", which I read as in made up part of the total.

i listened to it a few times and haven't been feelin it, I like relapse better.

So you like the ridiculous accents?

He openly rips on his past two albums saying that "them last two albums didn't count - Encore, I was on Drugs; Relapse, I was flushing them out"

Which I can agree on because Encore and Relapse were both garbage imo, I haven't heard this album much but I'm liking it better than those two combined.

I'm sorry, but Eminem sucks Big Black Dick.

His voice is whiney, sounds like he's fuckin complaining all the time. Never heard such headache noise ever. First 2 albums was all about his whiney ass life, daughter and wife. Eminem could go suck it.

EMINEM SUCKS!

Heard it, hated it. Best thing about the album are the beats. Take Dre out of the equation and you have Eminem bitching and stringing disgusting insults together. Track after track of lame attempts at shock value. Thumbs down. I'll still throw in the Marshall Mathers album once in a while though. His gimmicks seemed so much more effective back then.
