Ebay Ads Are Killing My Sites!

I have been getting shit loads of complaints from members on a few of my sites, complaining that pages are taking forever to load, or are not loading period. At first I was a little lost, I wasnt sure where or what was causing the problem, but after looking into the problem I have found that the culprit is Ebay ads. I removed them from one of my forums because of it, which sucks, because they have been converting pretty well.

The problem is that the entire page page will stall / lag until the ads load, they are all keyword targeted ads, put together with ebays editor kit.

Anyone know of a solution to this problem? And has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

Like I said I really dont want to take them down because they convert so well, but I would rather throw up some adsense ads in there place, than risk losing members or turning away impatient visitors.

take the ebay ads code, replace them with like <div id="ebay_ads"></div> once the page loads do document.getElementById('ebay_ads').innerHTML = "ebay ad code" or something like that, just do it after the page loads.. another option is to just do that in window.onload = function(){};
