Easy way to bank on FB (I may be ruining this for myself)

+rep. just curious from your landing page, does TP take canadian only traffic or is it international?

Yeah some people have made sales already - one guy PM'd me and told me he just started his first ever Affiliate Marketing campaign with this strategy, spent $10 and made $70!

Small amount, but it's a huge step and a huge success that you should pat yourself on the back for. (Just remember to take 10% of your profits and invest it into luxury chocolates.)

Just goes to show that there are some things you can do online that make you money right away, even if you're a virgin.

Well...an affiliate marking virgins, sexual virgins are cursed to remain penniless and unsuccessful...sorry AlexJames, I didn't make the rules =)

Phil: They accept traffic from anyone who can buy it. I targeted Canadians because thats what worked for me, feel free to get creative and try anything!

Hey guys, here's another tip for this method, people are PMing me like crazy (I don't mind) with this question, so I'll answer it here as well.

The higher the CTR the lower your clicks will cost, thats what I noticed with FB.

So try to get an ad that's either:

1) Eye catching images
2) funny titles

The mentality of all Facebook users is that you're just there to waste time and have fun - so why not tap into that psychology and exploit it to make a bunch of money =)

eye catching ads (the image) will give you a huge CTR and funny ads (funny titles mainly) will also give you a huge CTR.

Try to get as many ads approved as possible, if you don't want to pay like $500 a day when they are all getting approved, just make your max budget like $50 or whatever you're comfortable with, then increase it as you find which ones are working.

However, I'd recommend having no limit to your budget, because once an ad gets going, you don't want it to stop!

INEXPERIENCE MARKETERS HEED THIS WARNING

If you've never done affiliate marketing before, and you just want to get a free ipod or a free xbox 360 or something - PLEASE don't use this method of advertising for that.

You will literally make 10X the money by signing up to one of the affiliate networks and promoting an email submit offer.

It could be the difference between getting a free Ipod, or making $5000.

NEW USERS, NEVER promote something like Freeipods.com unless you actually own the freebie site.

edit: I say this from experience, the first thing I promoted on FB was a referral link to my free xbox 360 site, I spent about $100 on clicks and got about 1000 users to register. I didn't end up getting an xbox 360 cuz the freebie site owner was a newb himself and didn't use autoresponders to upsell - but if I had've been promoting an xbox 360 email submit instead, I'd have made about $1500 with that same ad.

Even if you do get something free, you can only get 1 free item from most of these sites. You may have a super good ad going that may not get approved next time, but it's useless to you now because you got your free item from the freebie site...so always promote Email subs and try to get a rate of at least $1.25 or $1.30 from your AM.

Many of the senior members here have affiliate network links in their signatures, pick someone who's been helpful to you and sign up with their link (if you haven't already). Hope this helps!

Just got my first sale. I've had 254 clicks though, so I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's a time of day thing. I think I'll break my ad groups down into 5 year age groups and see who's clicking the most.

Anyway, +rep.

Did you capture their email before sending them to the website? Remember, Facebook users aren't interested in buying, so if you send them to a site asking them for $100 don't expect to make many sales. The original post did have a good point though, and that was to capture the contact details of your traffic. Facebook traffic is fast and cheap - it is an excellent way of building lists. Once you have their details, pitch them your offer or product, although I'd personally recommend a free offer such as a zip/email/form submit rather than a paid product.

Great post, hopefully it'll catch on. Very rarely to we get good posts about making money in here anymore. +rep

Hey Demon! Yeah I did capture some lead info - but the thing is, Facebook's advertiser terms state that you can't advertise a page that captures user information...

Their TOS is all over the place, sometimes they will enforce it, sometimes they wont.

I did it multiple ways.

But yeah I did capture the name & email of 18,000 people who are interested enough in making money that they entered their info.

But also - there are some Facebook users who are interested in paying for things - between my 2 friends and I, we sold about 6500 of these things or more.

Great post, hopefully it'll catch on. Very rarely to we get good posts about making money in here anymore. +rep

Thanks for the rep man!

I haven't been able to get any ads approved because of their terms about gathering user info. I had a USA one approved but CTR was awful, I've tried a few times targeting Canada and those all get declined.

I've never really messed with facebook PPC before, is it safe to keep trying this offer on my personal account without risking it getting deleted? Do you guys usually set up separate accounts from your personal ones when you do this?

Phil I would create a fake account if I were you.

If you're nervous about that (they don't like fake accounts and could ban your main account too) you could use IP cloaking software when you login to the fake account.

Also - I was in your situation as well, which is why I started making splash pages that were really tamed down. You can even link to a real data entry firm's website until it gets approved.

Then once it's approved, you can change it back to the real landing page or just the offer itself.

Doing this is a bit of a pain in the but, but I made a few thousand doing it that way.

I admit I was making many more sales when it was Facebook Flyers Pro - but I still made a couple hundred sales when it was Facebook Social Ads - then it got tedious and I gave up because I'm impatient, and got busy with other projects.

Hope that helps man!

By saying a tamed down landing page, do you mean a landing page that basically is a splash with a 'click here to continue' button? I can't get anything through that asks for user input on the landing page.

I got some ads approved for this but then when they stopped getting impressions and I tried to make more every single one (same url, picture and text) got declined. Then i literally tried changing everything and i couldn't get it approved because of the stupid "no gathering user info" rule. I'll try again tomorrow but I think facebook is really being anal about approving ads now and this might not work as well as it did. I may try making a landing page as was said but from what I've seen a lot of clicks get wasted by people not even clicking a simple "click here to continue" link. If anyone has good success with this let me know. I think I'll keep trying but from my experience leads (free for user) have always made me more money than sales (user has to pay) on facebook. I would also really like to thank darbsllim for this post, it did give me a couple good ideas to use for other offers.

excellent post, never really tried anything data entry related. But when I read this I thought I might try it somewhere in the near future.
