Don't you wish link building services had more open data on their effectiveness? I know I do.

I went through all the Dwarves on Steroids orders that I've delivered so far and analyzed their performance. I was adding almost all of them to my rank tracker so I could follow the progress easily.

Now I got something more or less substantial to show people rather than just base on mixed feedback from previous customers and my own experience. It took a while but it was totally worth it despite the fact that not all the numbers are "pretty".

Please keep in mind these results are not final. Some of these orders were delivered just recently so there will definitely be more fluctuation.

Here's the processed data:

Google rankings

14% orders improved a lot*
46% orders improved**
39% unchanged
1% decreased

Bing rankings

16% improved a lot
58% improved
26% unchanged

* "Improved a lot" - one or several keywords came up onto Page 1.

** "Improved" - one or several keywords came up anywhere under Page 1.

*** I did not segment the list by submission time. Around 25% of all orders came in on February so they are affecting the "unchanged" ratio (the links for some of them are even still running). So, let me re-iterate - these are by no means final results, just something to get an idea.

**** A couple of sites' rankings decreased, I'm currently looking for reasons, but most probably previously built links are the culprits. I've seen the kinds of links that I filter through shorteners going direct to these sites so that might be the answer - and the decrease could be temporary too.

Here's an example of a generally "improved" order:

The site was nowhere to be found for the keywords before the order but it needs some more links to get higher than page 6 - this specific site is an EMD that has seen quite a lot of direct spam links before, the results on fresh domains are normally better.

Here's an "improved a lot" order, where all keywords have settled on the first page of Bing:

Some non-quantitative observations:

- Target URLs that improved most on Google: local EMDs, parasites and a couple of brand-type sites;

- Target URLs that improved most on Bing: EMDs and parasites;

- Most of the sites that have just "improved" could use another package for an extra push, maybe to another inner page and another keyword;

- Sites that previously received direct automated links and danced are not very well "revived" by this service. Spam filtered through 301 redirects is milder than direct spam so it's better to do the opposite - get Dwarves on Steroids for your fresh EMDs and parasites first and then start dripping the direct linkspam;

- Orders that grew well on Google share a similar pattern - the rankings increase a bit the day the linkwheel tier starts (and all the shorteners are thus pinged), then there is a dip in about 7 days and then the rankings come back in about a day, e.g.:

What's next?

Right now I am going through all the "unchanged" orders and seeing whether there have been any software glitches or settings errors, re-verifying all links and adding more to make up for link loss. I'm hoping to fix a lot of these and move them up.

Changes

Based on the data above, some of my other tests, and user feedback I've introduced the following changes to the service:

- link lists used have been optimized, getting rid of some platforms that are not getting indexed well;

- there are more links in automated tiers and they are organized differently - keyword-rich anchored contextual links are run separately from raw-url achored low-OBL comments;

- each of the automated tiers is getting submitted to several indexers;

- direct bookmark drip is gone. I've some run tests for my own parasites and it barely made any difference anymore.

- the price went DOWN to $57.

This service is a great option to try on your parasites, EMDs, local ranking projects and sites that got under Googles filter.

The price to results ratio is unbeatable, so

Dwarves on Steroids previous threads: 1, 2.

Short info on the service:

Dwarves on Steroids = A lot of automated contextual links filtered through 250-300 link shorteners that point all the power to your site with 301 redirects. These links are great for ranking sites on Bing, boosting parasites and quick-cash EMDs, as well as helping online reputation management projects.

Hi. Is this effective for YouTube videos that aren't in top 300?

Also, will it harm my money site if the YT video is already embedded onto my site?

Hi. Is this effective for YouTube videos that aren't in top 300?

I'm seeing (2 weeks in) good results on one of the videos I'm promoting myself using these - but I also combined it with some views and comments I got on Fiverr, I can PM you a decent seller I found if you wish, it's been wild trying them :D

Also, will it harm my money site if the YT video is already embedded onto my site?

No chance, that would be a super-easy negative SEO loophole. Site is one thing, video is another thing.

Placed a second order after seeing great results on Yahoo/Bing (at 2 now) for a couple of keywords on an inner page. Hitting a second inner page and hoping for the same results.

Thanks!

Got it, thanks! Should work well in the new iteration.

Thanks for a lot of the orders, I'll be starting as many as I can over the weekend!
