I just want to know if location-based website hosting improves my SEO ranking. I have a clinic in India, and my clinic website hosting is also on an Indian server. I want the ranking on my main keyword best IVF centre in Punjab. Does this help me or not?

It doesn’t help to improve SEO but it will vastly help with your loading speeds which in some camps is a ranking factor, because your server is locally placed rather than sitting around the world maybe.

What will help is the way the on-page SEO is set up.

Yes, location-based hosting can have a small impact on SEO, especially when you're targeting a specific country or region. Google considers server location as one of many signals when determining geographic relevance. Hosting your site on a server closer to your target audience—like in India—might slightly help with page load times, which can indirectly boost user experience and SEO.
