I want to get into producing my own line of Nutraceuticals, but need a good contact for a Chemist who specializes in Acai and Resv. Does anyone know a good chemist they can refer me to?

Thanks!

You're about (*checks watch*) a year late to the party. Best of luck though

PM me and I can get you in touch with manufacturers for the products and people for your merchant accounts. Also, call centers to do upsell verifications, close partials, etc. =) You wont be that profitable unless you add the ancillary revenue streams like that.

lol no.

Stop thinking small and you'll live up to your forum name. If you really, REALLY think that there's not still money to be made in both the niches he mentioned in the way that he's approaching it (private label) then I feel for you.

I'm not ragging on you by any means, but seriously, too many affiliates get in this mindset that just because something is "burnt out" on the few online traffic sources that are swamped by affiliates doing the EXACT SAME THING that it's burnt out everywhere.

Will you have to use your brain a little? Yes.

Will you have to use your wallet a little? Yes.

I'm not just talking about Acai, Res, and all that shit, either. And I'm not just talking about (or not talking at all about) shady rebills. I'm talking about taking an existing product model that people have spent millions in the last few years "branding" so that the majority of people now at least recognize the name, and approaching them in a way that they are not accustomed to and positioning the product in a way that they can now trust to get sales.

I've personally done this with supplements before and you can damn sure bet I'll be hitting it hard again this year from another angle.

My point to all this: stop thinking small. Just because one promotional model for pitching a product concept shit the bed doesn't mean there aren't plenty of others.

Shhhh! Nutraceuticals are dead. The only remaining career option right now is Walmart greeter!

My understanding is that the real issue is the MIDs. No legit processors are willing to create new MIDs for acai, teethwhitening, sucrose strips (where the fuck did that come from btw? The funniest thing i saw on VISA's little memo), etc. While i am far from being the most creative or visionary guy out there, I just think that there are plenty of other primary ingredients that you could use as the pillar of your formula (maqui berry, capuacu, dingleberry, etc) that won't immediately be a non-starter with a reputable processor. Even still, from what I gather legit processors wont touch diet continuity; it's just not worth running afoul of VISA/MC.
Yeah, you can still go to a select group of processors that will setup new MIDs for continuity offers that are on the VISA black/grey list of categories but you open yourself up to a bunch of different issues:
1) Working with the kind of folks that are willing to take that business could potentially lead to you getting fucked out of a LOT of money if you ever scale things up and have a decent tail in rebills.
2) If/when your MIDs get close or VISA/MC bring down the hammer on the players that are creating new MIDS for the aforementioned verticals you will be blacklisted and the remaining legit processors wont touch you (based on your SSN and EIN I believe) so that makes setting up new processing a bit more annoying.
3) Much less of a concern but still a pain in the ass...you deal with fuckheads like BPG if you plan on running in verticals that compete with anything that Dee/Larby are involved with.

As far as private labeling something trusted and riding on the coattails of a major brand, I actually think that's a fantastic strategy. If you can draft off of someone else's investment or endorsment (acai with Oprah, Resv on 60 minutes) then do that shit and bank hard. I just think that for some folks that want to build a sustainable product or really grow something they might want to invest in something other than Acai or Resv.
